Your opening hook decides everything

Meta shows 125 characters before the 'More' truncation. If those characters don't create enough curiosity or desire to earn the tap, nothing else in the ad gets read. Rewrite the hook until it earns the next sentence.

Match copy length to your objective

Conversions need specificity and urgency — 150–250 characters. Awareness needs clarity and memorability — under 125 characters. Traffic needs curiosity that earns the click — tease the answer, don't give it.

Include social proof in the body, not the hook

Hooks that lead with social proof ('Rated #1 by 12,000 customers') feel defensive. Move it to the second sentence as a trust layer after the hook has created desire.
